Position:
An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Clerical Officer based at University Hospital Crosshouse.
What you will do:
Working within the Laboratory Office at University Hospital Crosshouse, you will be required to undertake data entry into the WinPath Computer system, a range of clerical duties and routine tasks as required within the Laboratory.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
You should be proficient in the use of Microsoft packages with excellent typing skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills are required as is the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
Previous NHS experience in a laboratory environment is desirable together with knowledge of medical terminology and a minimum typing speed of 50 wpm. The successful candidate will also participate in bank holiday rosters therefore a degree of flexibility will be required to meet service needs.
