You’ll be responsible for: Drives the implementation and compliance of business health safety and wellbeing (HSW) policies, procedures, guidance notes and standards on assigned project/s. Leads preparation of external ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and other applicable standards. Monitors and assists with the creation and coordination of the inspection and audit schedule, undertakes and provides support for operational health safety and wellbeing (HSW) inspections and audits. Provides Input and participates in the development of new and updates to existing standards. Analyses and interprets results of reporting, audits, corrective actions, operations reports and key performance indicators (KPI’)s, ensuring mechanisms are in place to enable accurate measurement, reporting and rectification – identifies gaps for improvement and develops mitigation plans with operations to support rectification. Contributes to and manages incident investigations in line with business procedures. Seeks opportunities for continuous improvements/improving working processes. Develops effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Manages stakeholders. Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work. You’ll need to have: Relevant health and safety industry or sector experience. Strong organisational and time management skills and deliver to deadlines. Good communication and presentation skills, written and oral. The ability to build rapport and good working relationships with people at all levels. Attention to detail. The skills to use your own initiative, be proactive and solution focused. The ability to use SMART objectives to effectively deliver results. Formal qualification in safety management (level 3 in UK), e.g. Nebosh certificate (or equivalent). Plus additional H&S qualifications level 3 or above (or equivalent).
