A small, Nursing and Residential Care Home is looking for a General Manager – Residential or Nursing background (Active pin not required). This is a very stable Home with a great reputation and strong relationship with the local council. Running at full occupancy with an established team.
Key Responsibilities of a General Manager :
1. Overall running of the home; including budgets, staff management, quality and compliance.
2. Staff appraisals, meetings and disciplinaries.
3. Building Relationships and Communication with residents, relatives and external stakeholders.
4. Build strong relationships with CQC and the local authority.
5. Building and maintaining high occupancy.
6. Maintaining minimal agency usage.
Home Manager Requirements:
7. Experience in Nursing and Residential Care Homes essential.
8. Experience working with the Elderly, Complex needs and or Dementia residents.
9. Ambitious and motivated individual.
10. Strong leadership.
11. Good track record with CQC.
12. Computer literacy.
