Site Manager – Public Sector Projects

Salary: Up to £65,000 (All-Inclusive Package)

Ridgeway & Co are working with a leading Tier 1 main contractor known for delivering complex and high-quality public sector projects across the UK. With a strong and growing presence in Cambridgeshire, they are now seeking experienced Site Managers to join their team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing daily site operations and ensuring project milestones are achieved
*
Managing subcontractors and ensuring safe, efficient delivery on-site
*
Upholding health & safety standards and ensuring compliance with internal and external procedures
*
Working closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to drive delivery and resolve issues
*
Maintaining site documentation including RAMS, daily diaries, permits, and quality checklists
*
Reporting on progress and supporting commercial and design coordination as required
Requirements:
*
Proven experience delivering public sector schemes (education, healthcare, civic or framework projects)
*
Strong leadership and communication skills
*
SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid certifications
*
Tier 1 or large contractor background desirable
