Responsibilities:
Collaborate with design teams to review and refine mechanical system designs, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Prepare accurate cost estimates, tender packages, and value engineering options for mechanical works.
Provide technical expertise during pre-construction, advising on system selection, feasibility, and build ability.
Assist in creating project schedules, identifying key milestones, and aligning mechanical activities with overall timelines.
Work with procurement teams to evaluate supplier and subcontractor bids, ensuring alignment with project specifications and budgets.
Identify potential design or construction risks early and propose mitigation strategies.
Liaise with project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and internal teams, to ensure smooth project transition into construction.
Promote innovative and sustainable solutions to enhance project efficiency and environmental performance.Requirements:
Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
Proven experience in a pre-construction role within the building services or MEP sector.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, design standards, and construction practices.
Proficiency in project management tools and estimation software.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
