Are you a passionate and results-driven operations professional looking to make a significant impact? As Operations Excellence Manager with this award-winning, creative, and fast-growing business, you’ll drive positive change across its warehouse fulfilment operations, as well as playing a key role in ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process Improvement: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, implement, and optimize processes that align with business objectives and drive exceptional customer experiences.
2. Operational Efficiency: Define, measure, and continuously improve standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency and performance.
3. Technology Adoption: Leverage technology solutions to streamline operations and drive innovation.
4. Customer Onboarding: Manage and support the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition.
5. Peak Performance: Provide operational support during peak periods and manage key projects.
6. Health & Safety: Champion a culture of safety excellence and ensure compliance with all regulations.
7. Financial Management: Develop operational forecasts, adhere to budgetary requirements, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
8. Accreditation Support: Ensure compliance with accreditation criteria and implement necessary policies and procedures.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a proven ability to manage competing priorities.
2. Ideally - knowledge of warehouse / logistics / fulfilment processes.
3. Demonstrated experience in process improvement and technology implementation.
4. Ideally – previous experience / knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
5. Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking skills.
6. Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve issues effectively.
7. Customer-focused approach with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
8. Collaborative working style, able to work cross-functionally across the business.
9. Ability to thrive in a dynamic and demanding environment.
10. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office apps, particularly in Excel.
