Job summary The role will be supervising staff in four mental health units in Chelmsford Responsible for the day to day co-supervision of the FM services and will be the customers point of contact for any FM related issues. Arrange rosters to ensure that there is sufficient cover available and resources are used efficiently. Ensure goods delivered to site are received, checked and distributed appropriately. Main duties of the job Organise staff rosters, ensure staff are used efficiently and communicating shifts to the staff in a timely fashion. Authorise annual leave requests Sign agency staff timesheets prior to forwarding to the Facilities Officer in order that payment for shifts worked can be authorised. To ensure that any staff who are new to the area are taken through the induction programme. Carry out training with staff on use of equipment and safe methods of working. Ensure that mandatory training, supervisions & appraisals are carried out as per Trust policy/procedure and that all necessary documentation is completed. Carry out meetings with staff returning from sick leave and complete the relevant paperwork Ensure staff are released for training as and when required. You may also be required to assist staff complete their mandatory training via the Trusts electronic system. Review work schedules for the service in conjunction with the Facilities Officer. To support the Facilities Officer in the on-going development needs of staff including the identification of training needs, re-training needs, development of training plans and delivering practical training.
