Responsibilities include developing and implementing online marketing strategies, managing Shopify Plus, and supporting business growth across sales channels.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Acquisition Marketing:
* Optimise paid search campaigns using Google Adwords.
* Drive new customer growth through affiliate partners and co-branded campaigns.
* Test and improve social selling campaigns.
* Grow email marketing lists.
2. Retention Marketing:
* Drive repeat purchases through triggered email campaigns and printed catalogue mailings.
* Launch a loyalty program and grow online cheese subscriptions.
3. Brand Marketing:
* Own and enforce brand guidelines and the Royal Warrant.
* Ensure brand consistency across consumer touchpoints.
* Oversee social media, PR plans, and content production.
4. E-commerce:
* Manage and optimise the Shopify Plus platform.
* Increase Average Order Value and Conversion Rate.
* Analyse results and insights using Google and Shopify Analytics.
5. Planning & Strategy:
* Oversee the marketing budget and track marketing spend.
* Define and communicate the marketing calendar.
* Collaborate with the buying team to forecast sales.
* Set the overall marketing strategy with the MD and Management Team.
6. Compliance & Operations:
* Ensure legal compliance of campaigns with policies like GDPR, PCI, and UK competition laws.
Requirements:
* Passionate about artisan cheese.
* Demonstrable experience with Shopify, in a SME retail business.
* Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, GA4, and Klaviyo.
* SEO knowledge and ability to write compelling copy.
* Ability to work with third-party agencies and troubleshoot website issues.
* Strong attention to detail, analytical mind, and problem-solving skills.
* Good time management and multi-tasking skills.
