Learning Support Assistant Level 3 Year group: Nursery / EYFS Phase 1 Hours: 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm, Term time only plus 5 INSET days Required From: March 2025 or earlier if possible The Governors, staff and children at Lewis Street Primary School are looking to appoint an excellent and hardworking EYFS Learning Support Assistant (Level 3) to share in our vision within our school. The LSA will be responsible for working within our Nursery Team, supporting teaching and learning for all children, delivering interventions and covering PPA time in Nursery. Working closely with the class teacher and Phase Leader to ensure the best outcomes for all pupils. You will support in the organisation and delivery of the Early Years Curriculum. The successful candidate will: Have the appropriate teaching and learning level 3 diploma or equivalent qualification as per the EYFS guidance. Have experience of delivering and supporting the delivery of the EYFS framework Promote and model the school values of EXCELLENCE; RESPECT; CHALLENGE and SELF-BELIEF. Promote and model the school vision including infusing honesty and integrity into all of school life Develop high quality professional relationships with children, colleagues, parents, carers and Governors. Contribute to the development of an inspiring culture for learning across the school Deliver teaching and learning as part of an EYFS, supporting the class teacher and all pupils in the class. Understand the importance and impact of teamwork and collaboration. Work in collaboration with professionals and school staff to work towards individual and group targets. Have the ability to self-evaluate learning needs and actively seek learning opportunities. Understand attachment theory and the functions of behaviour, and have proven experience of positive behaviour management strategies and a commitment to the school s behaviour policy with pupils with SEMH and neurodiverse conditions.
