The Role:
The Business Support Team Leader is the lead for our friendly and hard-working Business Support Administrator Team within the Multi Agency Children’s Hub.
As first point of contact to Children’s Services, a significant part of this role oversees a wide range of processes and procedures and developing, maintaining and monitoring systems and processes in collaboration with the Service to meet operational needs in keeping children and young people safe within Westmorland and Furness.
The role will be working collaboratively with the Hub Management Team, our key strategic partners and as part of a wider Business Support Team Leader Team across Children’s Service.
The Team Leader will contribute to the continuous development of service improvements utilising IT and data management systems to ensure that the Council’s statutory duties are filled.
Who we are looking for…
The ideal candidate will be customer focussed, a highly motivated individual with experience of supervising staff, can work in a very busy team operating to tight deadlines, can use their initiative to problem solve when issues arise and work to improve processes and systems on an ongoing basis.
Candidates must possess excellent literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills, as well as a high level of organisational and communication skills. The successful candidate will present a confident, professional image to teams, team managers and other colleagues within the Directorate and partner agencies.
