Join our team as a Case Manager and use your skills and experience as an Occupational Therapist to create a real difference in people’s lives, all within a supportive, collaborative, and flexible environment. As a Case Manager at ETS, you will provide a combination of evidence-based clinical expertise and case management services to ensure your clients receive coordinated and comprehensive care. You will work with the injured person, their family, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and manage proactive rehabilitation, together with referring solicitors and insurance companies.
This position offers part-time and full-time opportunities, with a minimum of 22.5 hours per week, and allows for office-based, remote or hybrid work arrangements, depending on location, with a competitive salary based on experience starting from £40k.
Responsibilities
* Deliver exceptional, professional, and client-focused services to individuals and stakeholders, ensuring personalised, high-quality support that meets the clients’ rehabilitation needs and goals.
* Exhibit strong communication skills, including constructing clear, comprehensive reports while building and maintaining positive, collaborative relationships with all relevant parties.
* Efficiently and effectively manage workload so that you meet the needs of your case load in a fair and equitable manner.
* Promote innovative, evidence-based practices, driving informed decision-making that ensures the highest standards of client care and positive outcomes.
* Exercise a high level of analysis and interpretation of complex clinical presentation and situations.
* Foster ongoing engagement, providing continuous support and actively monitoring progress to ensure clients stay on track and achieve their goals.
* Utilise the support of your Case Manager Assistant through effective delegation, to ensure the timely progression of the injured person’s recovery.
* Provide insightful guidance and support to peers, sharing experience and contributing to a collaborative, growth-focused environment.
* Support the seamless integration of new Case Managers by assisting with inductions, ensuring peer support, training and helping to develop key competencies.
* Maintain your own competency through Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities and maintain a portfolio which reflects personal development in readiness for HCPC audit.
Requirements:
* Qualification in Occupational Therapy
* HCPC registered
* Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience
* Driving license
* Suitable home working environment
* Clean DBS check at enhanced level
* Good IT skills with knowledge of Office 365
* General clinical experience (essential) e.g. Orthopaedics, Care of Elderly, MSK, Vascular and Amputations, Mental Health, Acute medical, Community Care, long-term conditions management and rehabilitation
* Specialist experience (desirable) e.g. ABI, Spinal, Paediatrics, Hands and Plastics
* Vocational Rehabilitation experience (desirable) to support clients to return to work.
