We are looking for an experienced HR professional for a 12-month maternity cover starting in October.
Paying up to £50k, offering hybrid working for a technical business that has a great culture, based in North Cambridgeshire.
You will have worked in a stand-alone HR role previously and feel comfortable operating autonomously.
Reporting to the CFO while managing an HR Assistant, this role requires someone who can deliver the day-to-day operational HR duties while being a HR partner to the business and the champion of their culture.
Duties include:
1. Managing recruitment and onboarding
2. Developing policies in line with legislative change
3. Managing employee relations cases as they arise
4. Leading on well-being initiatives
5. Leading on L&D initiatives supporting managers to develop their teams
6. People planning for the future
7. Providing advice and guidance to managers on employee issues
About you:
1. Experience of using an ATS / HRIS
2. Excellent IT skills
3. A collaborator in your approach and style
4. Strong attention to detail
5. Supportive team player
6. Excellent employment law knowledge
