Person Specification
Education/Qualification
Essential Criteria
* Willingness to undertake training relevant to the post.
* Has undertaken The Care Certificate Programme, or willingness to undertake the Care Certificate Programme (this will be sponsored by the Trust).
Desirable Criteria
* Higher Professional Diploma in Health and Wellbeing (NVQ/QCF - Level 3) or a recognized equivalent course.
* GCSE grade A-C or equivalent in English and Maths.
Experience
Essential Criteria
* Experience of working in a health or social care setting.
* Experience of working in a community setting.
* Experience of working as part of a team.
* Experience with the use of Microsoft Office and a variety of databases.
Desirable Criteria
* Experience with the NHS patient information database (System One).
* Previous experience in bladder and bowel dysfunction.
* Previous experience in completing continence assessments.
* Previous experience in bladder scanning.
* Previous experience of assessing, fitting, and managing continence aids.
Skills and Knowledge
Essential Criteria
* Demonstrate an acceptable level of numeracy and literacy.
* An awareness of risk management.
* Knowledge of multi-agency services available and processes for referral.
* Knowledge of the effects of the ageing process and the needs of vulnerable adults in relation to their health and well-being.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to build effective relationships.
* Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.

* Car driver/access to the use of a car.
