Job Description
1. Conduct technical review of test report, inspection report, factory audit report & any other technical documents/ records as applicable in accordance with the requirements of assigned conformity assessment program / technical regulation.
2. If testing is necessary to be arranged, coordinate with the approved subcontracted laboratory and inspector / factory auditor / client for drawing testing samples.
3. Coordinate with inspection department for pre-shipment inspection.
4. Select appropriate factory audit team for Type 3 or Type 5 saleem schemes as per ISO/IEC 17067 / licensing procedures for other conformity assessment programs.
5. Make certification decision based on the results of the technical review conducted.
6. Issue final certificate of conformity (CoC, CoI, TIR) / Product certificate / shipment certificate / Non-conformity Report / Notification of Registration via secure shipment platform/ saber system as applicable.
7. Upload supporting documents and other records in secure shipment platform / saber system.
8. Assist clients with technical queries with respect to the conformity assessment program requirements.
9. Provide technical support when needed for developing product inspection checklists based on conformity assessment program requirements.
10. Share any customer feedback (positive / negative) with your immediate Supervisor in order to take necessary actions for improving services offered to clients.
11. Comply and ensure implementation of the company’s and the customer’s Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures.
12. Coordinate with clients for all necessary supporting documents / records in order to begin with the official process of issuance of certificate of conformity.
13. Conduct application review for the assigned conformity assessment program using applicable platform (for saleem program, saber system shall be used for application review and acceptance / rejection).
14. Record application review results in file processing checklist / saber system as applicable.
15. Assign authorized senior technical officer / technical officer for performing technical evaluation and certification decision from qualification matrix based on product category.
16. Draft Certificate of conformity (CoC / TIR / CoI) /Notification of Registration / Non-conformity Report via Secure Shipment Platform / Saber System as applicable
17. If the file is for Saleem program, change the status of issuance of certificate of conformity in saber system by changing the status to “A conformable product” or “An unconformable product” based on the results of technical review and certification decision.
18. Share any customer feedback (positive / negative) with your immediate Supervisor in order to take necessary actions for improving services offered to clients.
19. Comply and ensure implementation of the company’s and the customer’s Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures.
Single assignments
Beside the above listed job duties special assignments have to be carried out based on the instructions of the direct superior. Those special assignments are usually connected to above listed activities or those assignments are a result of company policy.
Authority
The incumbent is authorized to take any reasonable action necessary to carry out the assigned responsibilities, provided that such action is consistent with sound company and cost-effective practices and is consistent with position guidelines as outlined above.
What we expect of you?
Education:
Bachelor degree in Chemical engineering or in related discipline is preferred.
Work Experience :
At least 1 year of experience which includes technical activities.
