About the Role
As a full-time Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring continuity of education when teachers are absent. You will be responsible for supervising pre-prepared lessons, maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere, and supporting students with their learning. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in a school setting while making a meaningful impact on students' education.
Key Responsibilities
Delivering pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects in the absence of the regular teacher.
Managing classroom behaviour and creating a safe, engaging learning environment.
Supporting students with their learning and responding to any questions.
Liaising with teaching staff to ensure seamless lesson delivery.
Assisting with administrative tasks and supporting school activities as needed.
Providing feedback to teaching staff regarding student engagement and lesson coverage.
Requirements
A degree in any subject.
Previous experience working with young people, preferably in an educational setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage a classroom effectively and maintain discipline.
A proactive, reliable, and flexible approach to work.
