We are looking for a dedicated band 6 CAMHS Practitioner to work in the CRISIS - Rapid Response Service.
The Practitioner is required to be available across a Rota of Long Days and Nights - Weekends also as it is a 24/7 Service.
Responsibilities include:
1. Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team, applying specialist skills and knowledge to maintain the young person with significant and complex needs in the community.
2. Collaborating with Cornwall Council families together colleagues to build an integrated pathway that will offer support and treatment for families in a joined-up way.
3. Communicating highly complex and sensitive information to young people, their families, and agencies.
4. Developing productive relationships with young people and families, often dealing with individuals in distress while facilitating treatment.
5. Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with other professionals, third sector workers, and significant others.
6. Keeping the Team Manager, Clinical Lead, and Clinical Psychologist informed of all relevant developments.
7. Providing specialist consultation, advice, information, and training to professionals across a wide range of agencies and settings as required, particularly to those working with Children in Care and Youth Offending Team clients.
