Job Purpose
The Merchant Account Maintenance Specialist is responsible for auditing and fulfilling all merchant account maintenance updates in a timely manner. This position requires someone to thrive in a fast-paced environment that is in a constant state of growth. Ensuring quality assurance standards are being met and department policies and procedures are adhered to. This role at times serves our Sales Partners directly and requires extreme attention to detail while maintaining supportive relationships with them.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Preparing, compiling, and sorting documents for data entry
* Checking source documents for accuracy
* Executing Merchant Account updates including, but not limited to:
o DBA Changes
o DDA Changes
o Rates and Fee Updates
o Funding Changes
o Add on Services
* Ensuring account changes adhere to Payroc policies and compliance standards
* Cross functional collaboration with other teams to ensure changes are handled effectively in front and back end systems
* Assisting with day-to-day merchant onboarding as needed
* Assisting support teams with 1099K requests or edits
* Other administrative tasks as assigned by Senior Leadership
Qualifications
* Proactive Mindset - Able to proactively identify gaps in processes or products that could potentially lead to merchant churn
* Extensive Product Knowledge - Maintain excellent knowledge of our portfolio of products and services in order to understand Merchant's needs
* Interpersonal Skills - Must be able to work with leadership to develop long-term solutions for process and/or service failure points leading to Merchant and Agent churn
* Ability to Multitask - Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple requests at one time
* Time Management - Must be able to prioritize and use time efficiently based on the importance level of the issue at hand
