Secondary Supply Teacher – Plymouth
Location: Plymouth
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: £120 - £150 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Contract: Flexible supply work with long-term and temp-to-perm opportunities available

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary Supply Teachers to support local schools on a short-term, long-term, and temp-to-perm basis. This role is ideal for experienced teachers, early career teachers (ECTs), and retired teachers looking to remain active in education.
The Role:
As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across a range of subjects, following school curriculum guidelines.
Adapt quickly to different classroom environments, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning experience for all students.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a productive and respectful atmosphere.
Follow lesson plans provided by the school or create your own where required.
Mark and assess students’ work when necessary, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
Work closely with school staff to ensure continuity of learning and a seamless transition for students.
Build strong relationships with students, promoting enthusiasm and engagement in lessons.
What We’re Looking For:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent – applications from ECTs are welcome.
Experience teaching in a secondary school setting, with strong subject knowledge in your specialism.
The ability to adapt to different classroom environments and year groups as needed.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
A proactive and flexible approach to teaching and learning.
A commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.
