You will be responsible for providing support to the Design & Estimating team by collating, producing, updating, maintaining, submitting, and distributing documentation, drawings, project, and business-specific information.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Ensuring critical paths for each project are identified and deadlines met, including tech subs, drawings, method statements, risk assessments, test documentation, and Operation and Maintenance (O&M) manuals.
* Proactively managing diaries/timelines of projects to ensure deadlines are met.
* Creating schedules of dates with project start, completion, and key programme dates.
* Aiding in the production of documentation for test plans and ATP paperwork and files.
* Aiding in the production of commissioning handover sheets.
* Ensuring documentation is produced and submitted in line with the critical path for each project and liaising with key team members to ensure deadlines are met.
* Collating record drawing information, ensuring it is issued to the department and returned to the Project Manager and uploaded to online portals.
* Documentation control flow with the site team using Electronic Portals (4Projects, aSite, ACC, BIM360, etc.).
* Maintaining project deliverable schedules and ensuring the team is working to the latest information, ensuring the following information (but not limited to) is maintained:
o Technical Submissions
o Drawings
o Test Packs/ATP’s
o Record Drawings
o O&M Manuals
o Project or Business-related documentation
* Ensure company procedures are adhered to and forms completed in time.
* Aiding in the collation of GBEC Section A, B, C & D information, and following up on any action points.
* Ensuring NSI Documentation/Commissioning Documentation and Compliance.

Person Specification
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Good knowledge of MS products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and confidence using IT software.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Sound problem-solving skills and analytical thinking with demonstrable experience of delivering action plans to resolve issues and remedy disputes.
* Previous experience within a Document Controller position.
* Previous experience of working within the Fire, Security, or Data infrastructure industry.
* Knowledge of online Doc-Control Portals (Conject, 4Projects, etc.).
* Knowledge of SharePoint.

Working Conditions
If you are office-based, you will be required to work in an open-plan office at one of our office locations in Gloucester, Dronfield, and London. If you are a remote worker, you will need to ensure you have the appropriate space to work from home and must be happy to occasionally travel to the offices when required for your job role.
