Job Summary
Are you a seasoned sales professional with deep roots in high-risk industries? Soteria is seeking a motivated Sales and Business Development Manager to expand our client base across the UK and internationally. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your industry expertise and connections to drive meaningful change in workplace safety.
As our first dedicated salesperson, you’ll spearhead our growth, collaborating with high-profile clients to enhance safety standards through innovative visual content.
Key Responsibilities
1.\tStrategic Lead Generation
•\tLeverage your existing network to identify and engage potential clients within high-risk industries.
•\tUtilise industry-specific platforms, events, and forums to create new business opportunities.
2.\tClient Engagement and Presentations
•\tArrange and lead high-level meetings with prospective clients, both virtual and in-person.
•\tPresent Soteria’s services, demonstrating how our cinematic safety training solutions address industry-specific challenges.
3.\tRelationship Building and Nurturing
•\tMaintain regular communication with prospects, addressing queries and providing customised solutions.
•\tBuild and nurture long-term relationships to foster client loyalty and repeat business.
4.\tDeal Negotiation and Closing
•\tLead negotiations on contract terms and pricing to close deals effectively.
•\tEnsure seamless client onboarding in collaboration with our production team.
5.\tCRM Management
•\tMaintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline progress in our
CRM system.
6.\tSales Reporting and Strategy
•\tTrack performance against targets, providing regular sales reports.
•\tIdentify market trends and opportunities for improvement to inform strategic planning.
7.\tAccount Management and Upselling
•\tManage existing client accounts, exploring opportunities for upselling and expanding our services.
Compensation & Benefits
•\tBase Salary: £35,000 - 40,000 (Depending on experience and industry connections)
•\tCommission: 5% on all sales

Ideal Candidate
•\tExperience: Minimum of 5 years in B2B sales within high-risk industries such as oil, gas, nuclear, renweables, or heavy manufacturing.

•\tSkills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
•\tPersonality: Self-driven, strategic thinker with a passion for improving workplace safety.
•\tTechnical Proficiency: Proficient in CRM software and sales pipeline management.
•\tEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
