General Cover Teacher South Tyneside (Full time) £(Apply online only) per day - Pre AWR (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications) January 2025 – onwards The School and Role This Secondary SEND Alternative Provision (PRU), based in South Tyneside is looking to appoint a passionate General Cover Teacher to work in Key Stage 3 and 4 classes on a full-time basis. Working in this Secondary SEND Alternative Provision as part of an established team, the desired General Cover Teacher will be working on a small class sized basis with pupils with SEMH and Behavioural Difficulties. You will cover a variety of subjects and topics. This full time General Cover Teacher role is long term from January ongoing. Requirements The desired General Cover Teacher will have;
* Experience of working with primary or secondary school aged children
* Experience of working with pupils with SEND and challenging behaviour
* A passion for the progress of SEND primary and secondary school pupils
* An ability to work as part of a team
