Senior Pricing and Commercial Manager
* Reporting to Associate Director, Trade Channel & Commercial
* Based in our Marlow offices (hybrid)

Role Objectives
Manage and develop our commercial structures, specifically relating to pricing and channel distribution. With a ‘data first’ mindset, they will generate actionable insights that evolves the affiliate commercial plans and strategy. With strong technical system skills this individual will improve our performance reporting capabilities, benchmarking to latest forecast/ Plan and external market focused KPI’s.
Being able to work cross-functionally will be critical as this person will be an important business partner to Sales, Marketing, and the wider Finance and Trade Channel function. This will include supporting in the areas of marketing promotion effectiveness, customer segmentation and progression, value proposition, and competitiveness.
The successful candidate will champion compliance to all relevant SOP’s and Legal requirements in relation to competition law, regulatory requirements and internal standards.
Key Responsibilities
Country Commercial Organisation
* Regularly review, maintain & develop the CTC customer databases and ensure accurate customer level pricing is maintained.
* Support & develop the implementation of this pricing across customer-facing systems (SAP) and via partners where appropriate (distribution agents).
* Design, build and maintain appropriate mechanisms to assess Gross to Net pricing of all product sales to determine if it’s appropriately tethered to both brand and market positioning, including competitor positions.
* Own & develop the regular reporting & analytics so that Sales, Marketing, and the wider Finance and Trade Channel function decisions are made with the most relevant and up to date intelligence to hand.
* Automate & streamline data processes where possible to drive efficient insight gathering & analytics.
* Deliver bespoke reporting appropriate to current focus and collaborate with Business Excellence, Sales & Marketing functions.
* Surface commercial opportunities for Allergan products, looking for opportunity to organically grow and/or constrain as required.
* Use commercial and analytical acumen aided by appropriate business software and market intelligence to look for genuine value-add profit & growth opportunities for Allergan Aesthetic.
Key Customer Interaction
* Work closely with the Customer Services team, as required, providing commercial support and expert analysis as required.
* Support Customer service initiatives to manage inventory & consignment stock level reporting.
* Identify and execute on business optimization opportunities with external agency partners and distributors. This will include areas of commercial development, and data management.
Cross Functional Interaction
* Collaborate with and align with Business Excellence to support fit for future data governance and reporting.
* Sales, marketing and finance functions for both operational implementation & supporting strategy development.
Qualifications
Preferred Education:
* Degree, preferably in Business, Finance or Accounting or equivalent industry experience
Preferred Experience:
* Experience in similar role for pharma and/or medical device business
* Demonstrable commercial acumen influencing operational and strategic decision making.
* Experience in pricing & commercial policy implementation and monitoring.
* Technical proficiency in managing databases, data structures, reporting via Power BI.

* Ability to manipulate data and present findings with value added insights covering sales force up to senior leadership
* Ability to challenge the status quo and propose appropriate solutions or new ways of working.
Technical Knowledge:
* Working knowledge of data cubes and SSAS
* Can extract and integrate large datasets from multiple sources
* Comfortable setting up and maintaining automated reporting processes.
* Expert knowledge of Power BI features such as Dax and Power Query would be advantageous.
* Working knowledge of relational databases including data extraction & database maintenance.
* Track record of data visualization
* Advanced Excel skills.
