Monarch Education are excited to be working with a school in the Telford area who are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEMH Sports Coach. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and dynamic team, making a real difference to the lives of students with SEMH needs.
Key responsibilities:
* Delivering sporting activities to suit the needs of a wide range of SEMH Students
* Manage and support students' behaviour, helping them build self-confidence and reduce disruptive behaviours.
* Collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders
* Adapt activities to support different learning abilities, making sure that each student has a positive experience
Requirements:
* A relevant degree or qualification in sports coaching, physical education, or a related field
* At least 6 months of experience in a sports coaching role, ideally with experience of working with students with SEMH needs
* Excellent knowledge of sports coaching techniques and methods, with the ability to adapt these to meet individual needs and abilities
* An enhanced DBS on the update service or a willingness to get one through us
