We are looking to recruit a permanent Bakery Operative for our client. You will work within a small bakery team to manufacture organic bread and cake loaves. This is an exciting time to join our client as they expand their team and grow the business further.

Responsibilities
Assisting in all aspects of bakery production, including mixing, shaping, baking, and packaging, ensuring the highest quality of the products. You will be operating a range of equipment safely to produce unique breads and cakes including;
•Unloading and operating the 'Sprouting' vessels, Silo augurs, Divider/Extruder, mixer and mincers
•Loading and unloading ovens
•Working on the packing line both loading (“tipping”) and unloading
•Daily cleaning of machines, tools and equipment.
•Labelling products using the labelling machine
•Managing finished and semi-finished goods as per procedures

•Health, Safety and Hygiene Aware – You must adhere to the health and safety policies for our business. Don’t worry, we will talk you through everything you need to know before you start work. As you will be working with food, a clean and hygienic approach with yourself and to your environment is required.
•Active person - is required for standing long periods, manual handling of heavy sacks and machinery
Full training will be provided, although some experience with food production/manufacturing would be ideal but it is not necessary. Note that due to the remote location and no bus routes, you must be able to reliably be able to commute to work. Own transport is essential.
