Skills & Experience Required:
* Extensive proven event project management and leadership skills, including the ability to manage budgets.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook with a high level of attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as creative flair should come naturally.
* Accurate, methodical approach to work, with excellent attention to detail.
* Flexible and adaptable around working hours and the ability to work calmly under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
* Professional attitude with demonstrable ability to exercise complete confidentiality.
Key Duties & Responsibilities Include:
* The successful planning, implementation, and management of corporate and social events, conferences, exhibitions, and roadshows.
* Managing the delivery of events and associated budgets, ensuring efficient running of the annual events and conference calendar.
* Negotiating corporate rates across all event delivery to ensure best budgetary value.
* Collaborating with all associated departments to publicise and promote events.
* Managing and overseeing events, including problem solving, welcoming guests, directing event set-up, and communicating with staff and organising vendors as appropriate.
