Key Responsibilities
As a Specialty Doctor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the patients receive the highest quality medical care, including:
* Undertaking psychiatric and external assessments for clients to determine the appropriate level of care.
* Working alongside the multidisciplinary team to deliver individualized Care Programmes for each patient.
* Preparing detailed discharge summaries and attending CPA meetings as required.
* Participating in ongoing learning and supervision to further your professional development.
* Providing on-call cover and supporting the GP in delivering physical health care and emergency treatment.
* Taking responsibility for arranging and following up on clinical tests and investigations.
* Ensuring that physical observations are carried out by ward staff in line with medical instructions and reviewing results as needed.
