We are looking for an enthusiastic Pensions Administrator to join our vibrant Belfast office with hybrid working. This is an exciting role that would suit someone with previous experience in a similar administrative or customer service role, or a recent graduate looking to embark on a career in pensions.
The Role
As a Pensions Administrator with XPS you will:
* Update relevant pension administration databases and systems.
* Log and scan post/correspondence.
* Handle both Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) queries.
* Receive and handle internal and external telephone queries.
* Run automated systems calculations.
* Perform manual benefits calculations.
* Produce letters to 'draft standards' via Electronic Document Management system (EDM) in response to customer queries.
* Return original documentation and certificates to customers.
* Amend and develop into checking non-financial work e.g. change of address.
* Develop a basic knowledge and awareness of clients and associated schemes.
* Assist the team with project-related work e.g. bulk mailshots to scheme members.
* Work closely with other departments/teams to provide a total service to our clients.
* Ensure the accurate updating of the time recording system (Virtual Office) for both chargeable and non-chargeable activities.
Your profile
Essential Criteria
* Good level of education with a minimum Grade 4/C in GCSE Maths and English, or equivalent.
* Excellent organisational and planning skills.
* Ability to work ahead of deadlines and prioritise multiple tasks.
* Willingness to learn.
* Able to follow instructions, procedures, and policies.
* Enthusiastic, positive, and flexible approach to work.
* Effective interpersonal skills.
* A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Good oral and written communication skills.
