We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Officer. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing the financial records and ensuring strict compliance with all statutory and legal requirements. You will play a vital part in maintaining the financial health and accountability of the orgainisation.
Key Responsibilities
Fulfil all statutory finance functions.
Maintain and oversee accurate financial records, including all transactions, income, expenditure, assets and liabilities.
Work closely with the Property Manager to ensure all assets, property, and land are recorded and up to date.
Manage the invoicing process, ensuring timely payments and receipts.
Prepare year-end accounts and contribute to the statutory Annual Return.
Monitor, reconcile, and maintain bank accounts.
Manage cash flow and provide recommendations to minimise financial risk.
Produce and distribute regular management accounts; explain variances between budgets and actuals.
Provide financial insights and recommendations on budget planning and project costs.
Obtain competitive quotes and maintain supplier relations in conjunction with relevant staff.
Submit VAT returns and other HMRC-required deductions promptly and accurately.
Manage payroll functions and pension data, either in-house or through third-party providers.
Oversee timely invoicing and debt collection.
Monitor stock and consumables; manage regular banking and deposit collections.

Job Requirements
Financial qualification (minimum AAT Level 3 or equivalent)

This is a temporary role for approximately 3-months requiring an immediate start. Full-time hours working (Apply online only) Monday to Friday.
