Prestigious City law firm is looking for a residential property legal secretary to join their leading, award-winning conveyancing team and assist with a mixture of secretarial, administrative, and PA duties. This is a team well-known for their property work, and there will be an opportunity to take on some basic paralegal duties and provide administrative support on the conveyancing transaction.
Duties Include:
1. Diary and travel management – arranging meetings and conference calls, liaising with clients, and booking travel
2. Land Registry searches / conveyancing searches
3. Completing SDLT forms
4. Dealing with correspondence
5. Drafting, amending, and proofreading documents
6. Opening and closing files
It is essential that you have a minimum of 6 months’ experience as a legal secretary/administrator in residential conveyancing, excellent IT skills, and a competent communicator. This could be an ideal role for a legal secretary who has been working in a local/regional firm and is now looking for their first role in London. The role could also suit a property secretary/administrator who is looking to take on some more PA duties.
