Senior Communications Officer – Proactive

Band 4I, circa £44,218 per annum, plus benefits
In this new and exciting role, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team who develop and implement operational communication strategies and activities across Thames Valley Police, which help fight crime, serve victims, and build trust and confidence in our force.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level, and/or possess a professional qualification in communications, public relations, media, or equivalent experience. You should have proven experience of working in communications roles across internal and external communications, with a track record of delivering impactful communications and possessing strong crisis communications skills.
You will have strong interpersonal communication skills, along with political awareness, and the ability to build effective relationships to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
