What you'll be doing?
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will ensure the quality and service level expectations are delivered through the manufacturing and production of fitted and freestanding furniture in line with the production processes.
You will be expected to:
* Ensure all production and manufacturing tasks assigned on a daily basis are completed to a high standard.
* Ensure all working processes have been carried out in line with order requirements.
* Support colleagues in the production and internal teams to ensure work streams are achieved.
* Ensure the quality of products are manufactured and processed in line with order requirements.
* Ensure all work is checked for defects and reported to the department Supervisor.
* Report any risk items/processes to the department Supervisor.
* Ensure housekeeping is maintained to excellent standards in line with Health & Safety guidelines.
* Carry out any other tasks as required.
What you'll need?
To be successful in the role, we are looking for:
* Previous experience of end-to-end programming & operating nesting CNC machines is essential.
* Recognised qualifications related to the running of CNC machinery desirable but not essential.
* Strong practical skills for production and manufacturing processes.
* Be a team player with good organisational and liaison skills.
* Possess a positive attitude.
* Ability to carry out instructions in line with production and manufacturing requirements.
* Experience of working in a similar production/manufacturing environment.
* Awareness of the required H&S safety knowledge for the job role.
