What we’re looking for?
The Delivery and Support Services Manager in Wales & West Utilities Cyber Resilience Team is the key stakeholder in delivering our Regulatory Cyber Program of Work and ensures that the organisation meets its mandated regulatory delivery of Price Control Deliverables (PCD’s).
This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, excellent Program and Portfolio Management capabilities, effective financial monitoring and strong stakeholder management skills.
The role holder will be fully accountable and responsible for delivery of the complete Cyber Security and Resilience ‘Improvement Plan’ and will be expected to work with Ofgem to continue to provide reporting and monitoring but also the continual change and modification of the Improvement Plan.
We’ll trust you to:
* Lead and manage a team of project and program managers who will be responsible for the management and delivery of projects and programs within the portfolio.
* Oversee project planning, execution, and monitoring. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget and managed to the highest standards.
* Conduct and maintain continuous risk quality assessments of the projects’ plans and associated documentation, to identify project & portfolio risks and issues.
* Develop, maintain and execute mitigation strategies and action plans through the portfolio management lifecycle to mitigate and reduce risk.
* Provide continuous assessment of execution to identify lessons learnt which can be leveraged at each progressive stage of the program and across implementation of the multiple capabilities.
You’ll need to have:
* Either certified or currently studying towards the Management of Portfolios (M_o_P) Practitioner.
* A strong grasp of the technical and operational elements within Cyber Security and Resilience to be able to effectively communicate with stakeholders and team members.
* Significant practical experience of leading and managing change programs & portfolios at an enterprise strategic level, in fast paced pressurised delivery environments.
* Highly experienced at managing third party service providers to deliver a range of services as part of project & program delivery.
Due to the enhanced safety critical nature of this role, you will be required to carry out a National Security Vetting Security Clearance check - this will be carried out by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV). You can find out more details of the process on the Government website here:
