The APC Technician is responsible for the cleaning & maintenance (reactive and preventative) on the APC units What you'll be doing Site visits Carry out planned daily cleaning of APC units Carry out daily preventative maintenance of APC’s Stock consumables as and when required Carry out/check all safety features on each APC Carry out repairs/replacement of spares as and when required. Promptly and accurately report any damage of APC’s Correctly use PDA to record all undertaken work and or reporting faults. Health & Safety Work to agreed SLA’s and defined quality standards Work within the safe systems of work Work within H&S guidelines ensuring any accidents hazards or near misses are reported immediately Undertake reasonable lifting duties Ensure all operational practises apply withy current H&S guidelines Ensure correct PPE is worn as and when required. Other Accountable for van stock and on site spare parts – adhere to stores booking-in/out and stock management Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of a company vehicle and to ensure that all vehicle related documentation Accurately maintain daily works sheets and requisitions to the office. Experience Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience directly involved in trouble shooting, preferably within field repair of electro mechanical systems and equipment Basic electrical/pneumatic understanding/competency Qualifications GSSE Maths, English or equivalent.
