Duties as a Humanities Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging and thought-provoking Humanities lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
* Teach History, Geography, Religious Studies, or a mix of Humanities subjects across KS3, KS4, KS5.
* Encourage students to think critically, analyse sources, and engage in meaningful discussions.
* Use a range of teaching strategies, resources, and technology to enhance learning.
* Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support.
* Foster a positive learning environment where students feel inspired and challenged.
* Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring lessons remain engaging and relevant.
* Organise and participate in educational trips, fieldwork, or extracurricular activities to enhance learning experiences.
Ideal Humanities Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Humanities at [KS3/KS4/KS5].
* A strong subject knowledge in [History, Geography, Religious Studies, or a combination].
* A passion for inspiring young minds and fostering a love for learning.
* Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills.
* The ability to engage students through dynamic and interactive teaching methods.
* Strong teamwork and communication skills, working collaboratively with colleagues as a Humanities Teacher.
* A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
