Role Overview As a Communications Associate, you will be instrumental in developing and executing communication strategies that elevate our brand and engage diverse audiences across the financial services industry. Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, financial products, and market developments to deliver accurate, insightful content that positions the organisation as a thought leader. Support and promote events, webinars, and conferences, ensuring cohesive messaging and effective pre- and post-event communication. Experience / Competences Essential Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt content for various channels and audiences. Demonstrated understanding of financial services, including trading, with the ability to effectively communicate industry-specific content. Excellent research and analytical skills, capable of transforming complex information into clear, engaging narratives. Familiarity with media relations processes, including pitching stories, and handling press inquiries. Proficiency in content management systems, social media platforms, and analytics tools to drive communication effectiveness. Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Collaborative, team-oriented approach with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across departments and levels. Desired Prior experience from within a Communications role. Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism or a related field. Experience in the financial services industry with a working knowledge of trading and market trends. Strategic and creative mindset, with the ability to generate innovative ideas for impactful communication initiatives. Knowledge of basic design principles and experience collaborating with graphic designers to create visually appealing content. Familiarity with digital marketing tools, SEO best practices, and content distribution strategies. Prior experience with event promotion, is an advantage.
