One inpatient theatre is a hybrid vascular theatre used for vascular & interventional radiological procedures, 3 new state of the art robotic system for abdominal & pelvic surgery and 3 theatres are integrated for Laparoscopic use. You will receive excellent in-house training to support all areas of working across Anaesthetics. A flexible approach to working shifts is required. Our shift patterns are: 07:45-18:00, 07:45-20:00, 19:45-08:00 Including on call: 07:30-1930, 19:30-07:30 This will include 7-day week cover (unsociable hours are offered as per needs of the service) (HCPC registration is required for this post) (Part time hours considered) Main duties of the job You will assist to co-ordinate the provision of a timely, high standard, cost effective & safe Elective/Emergency theatre service, developing collaborative relationships between the multi-professional team and geographical areas, which supports the patient's journey You will work alongside the Clinical Theatre Leads under the direction of the Theatres Matron to ensure that through continuous quality assurance, services are modernised to provide a positive patient experience and improved staff satisfaction.
