Seniority Level: Mid-Senior Level Ownership Process Engineer - Logistics Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will provide technical support and be the key contact for all business-critical projects within the department. You will balance the continuous search for new improved ways of working, together with the implementing agreed ways of working to ensure their sustainability, whilst being responsible for the department KPI’s. Cheers to dreaming big The role: Daily, weekly, and monthly follow up to ensure stable and sustainable processes to achieve KPIs. Supporting department operation performance through daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs Take ownership for implementing systems and ways of working to overachieve on safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Leading improvement initiatives including minor projects. Interfacing with equipment and material suppliers. Facilitating and managing Capex projects within the logistics department on time in full. Ensuring compliance with corporate standards within department. Lead VPO compliance in the department through implementation of VPO standards. Provide departmental ownership and leadership. Supporting your peers in problem solving. Single point of contact for C2C visits & audits. Link between ZLS for continuous improvement initiatives & benchmarking activities; ensuring sustainability through management of documents and training materials. Proactively create gap plans to achieve budget and KPIs. Who we’re looking for: Relevant technical qualification for the local region and a degree or equivalent operational experience. Experience in holding teams accountable for company targets and managing employee relations and significant change. Experience in warehousing management or supervisory roles and a strong knowledge of manufacturing principles, tools, and techniques. Proven track record in process improvement with strong knowledge of project management and logistics processes. Strong organizational and communication skills; proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project. Excellent analytical, problem-solving abilities, and flexibility; adheres to deadlines. Strong influencer and listener, able to build trust and challenge appropriately. Charismatic leader, motivates and inspires staff, leads by example. Results-focused and structured, detail-oriented, and effective team player.
