About this Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as Cover Supervisor who will provide cover for absent teachers!
Our Cover Supervisors support the smooth running of the school by covering classes of absent teachers, whether in our Study Centre, or the teacher’s normal classroom. Our Cover Supervisors play an important role to ensure that students continue to learn even if a teacher is absent. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the school, and liaise closely with teachers and other staff to ensure that students have the best experience when cover is required. We ensure there are clear instructions and suitable resources for cover lessons. As with all of our staff, our Cover Supervisors promote positive behaviour, both within and outside of the classroom and maintain a constructive and productive working environment for all students.
This is a permanent contract, working hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 3:30pm (including a 30 minute unpaid break); 39 weeks per year (term time plus INSET days). The start date for this role is as soon as possible.
If you would like to arrange a school visit, please contact Sarah Forster, Headteacher, via Louise Rumbelow, Headteacher's PA () or if you have any questions in relation to the role or the recruitment process, please contact Abigail Henwood, HR Manager ().
