Senior Campaign Analyst

Salary £ 51,700 - £64,600 depending on experience + Management Bonus 10%

Your purpose
You’ll work within a campaign delivery team who are the data experts to support our business unit partners deliver highly targeted campaigns.
Your purpose will be to foster strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to champion data-driven insights that drive exceptional campaign performance.
You’ll own the delivery and continuous improvement of customer insight, reporting, and analysis, empowering Bupa UK's Transformation & Marketing function and Business Units to execute strategies across all segments (B2B / B2C /B2G) products (insurance and provision), and direct response channels.
The role
You’ll play a pivotal role in improving direct response campaign outcomes by leveraging Bupa UK's database marketing system to drive enhanced marketing ROIs.
Through proactive leadership, you’ll coach and develop your team, enabling them to excel in their roles and adopt a similar approach to championing insight and delivering results.
You’ll establish and nurture strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, external data suppliers, and direct marketing agencies to ensure collaborative success.
How you’ll help us make health happen
1. Engaged in lots of meetings, you’ll spend face to face time having healthy, challenging conversations with our stakeholders and members of the team.
2. Lead on delivering actionable, meaningful insight that shapes the future development of direct response activity.
3. Support and work closely and in partnership with the fellow Senior Campaign Analyst who owns the planning and delivery responsibilities of the team.
4. Provide leadership and coaching to ensure that team develop to their full potential in all areas, including database marketing.
5. Help the campaign analysts with the campaigns planning process and deliver where additional support is needed.
6. Be an advocate for our customers, in particular championing a customer-centric approach.
7. Improve ROI of campaigns, through better selections, including using available targeting and segmentation tools (e.g. propensity, value segmentation) to best effect
8. Monitor and report on campaign effectiveness and ROI, making sure reports and recommended changes to campaigns meet customer needs and results are communicated openly and honestly.
9. Identify and implement process efficiencies across the team (e.g. automation) to enable the number and complexity of campaigns to be increased. Make sure learnings are applied consistently across all relevant campaigns.
10. Manage positive relationships with internal teams and external agencies and suppliers.
11. Implement best practice Campaign Management processes in Database Marketing
12. Provide support to the Head of Database Marketing
13. Own the direct response campaign activity across all segments and Business Units for all relevant channels.
14. Deliver effective new sales and marketing campaigns, particularly automated campaigns for timely and relevant event-driven contact.
15. Manage the team resource to deliver each segment’s agreed direct response activity.
16. Proactively identify areas where Bupa UK’s database, data and models need to be enhanced to improve campaign effectiveness.
17. Anticipate needs for new delivery capabilities (e.g. SMS/MMS messaging) and work with the relevant teams to implement these.
18. Makes sure data provided is fit for purpose, accurate and compliant with regulatory requirements, and internal and industry standard practices.
19. Support the creation of a contact strategy across each segment, ensuring the individual journeys are coordinated and provide a coherent consumer experience, whilst also adding value for Bupa
You
20. Sound demonstrable experience in an analytical marketing role.
21. Significant experience with Adobe Campaign or similar campaign management systems.
22. Understanding of databases, and the role they play in direct marketing
23. Impressive marketing expertise with a proven flair for data.
24. Leadership, coaching and resource management skills.
25. Comfortable presenting all types of information including complex data and strategic recommendations at all levels of an organisation.
26. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail
27. Ability to influence colleagues and management up to the highest level.
28. Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills
29. Strong commercial awareness and customer focus
