Manager of Optimization and Engineering

What you will do:
1. Lead and manage a technical team to ensure that effective engineering, technical and operating support is provided to the operating areas within the Tomorrow organization.
2. Champion high standards of Health, Safety, Security and Environmental Stewardship by modeling safe and responsible working behaviors in alignment with the Tomorrow RNG safety principles.
3. Cultivate a positive, high-functioning culture by modeling respectful and inclusive behaviors in alignment with Tomorrow RNG's core values.
4. Support employee goals and development using Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and ensure sufficient opportunities to grow and enhance each employee's competence.
5. Develop and lead an implementation strategy for the Tomorrow RNG Technical staff to support overall objectives and drive continuous improvement.
6. Coordinate and lead system optimization efforts, development and execution of technical recommendations, risk assessments, and asset reliability controls.
7. Actively seek opportunities to implement strategies that align and contribute to improved asset system performance, reliability, and availability.
8. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and state requirements and Tomorrow RNG operating procedures.
9. Lead the development and implementation of the annual planning cycle and long-range capital plan.
10. Accountable for the budget, forecasting, development, and execution of all projects managed by the RNG technical staff.
11. Respond and hold critical positions on the Incident Management Team; in-person response to major incidents is required as necessary.
12. Lead and coach technical teams and field leaders through highly complex, time-sensitive, and business-impacting issues.
13. Communicate highly technical, complex, and/or confidential information to various audiences in both verbal and written formats.
14. Travel up to 40% to field and corporate locations is required.
Who you are:
You have the following education and experience:
1. Related university degree and eight plus (8+) years' experience OR ten plus (10+) years of previous field operations experience, OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience.
