They are currently recruiting for an Audio Secretary to join their Family Law team. The purpose of this role is to provide full secretarial support to the team and assist in the coordination of the Family Department's activities and objectives.
A background in law isn't essential - just a positive attitude, ability to communicate with clients, and a willingness to get involved to support the wider team.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and send out reports to a high standard, using Bighand for audio typing.
2. Use the DPS system for all matters and administer existing jobs.
3. Liaise with fee earners, organizing and prioritizing their administration tasks.
4. Maintain the filing system, including scanning and working towards paper lite systems.
5. Develop PC skills as necessary to carry out the job tasks.
6. Record phone calls, inquiries, and requests, and handle them accordingly.
7. Fully utilize equipment and systems; photocopiers, and binders.
8. Provide where appropriate, assistance, technical skills, and services to the Partners, Practice Manager, and wider team.

5. Previous audio typing beneficial but not essential as long as you are willing to learn.
Hours: Monday - Friday - 35 hours
