Contract: Temporary - 12 Months
Hours: Full Time 37hrs Per Week
Your workstyle will be a mobile hybrid worker in this role which gives you the flexibility to work from home and from a variety of Council workplaces.
About the role:
We’re looking for a comms all-rounder to join our busy Communications and Marketing team. This fixed-term position will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing communication and marketing activities, in particular for the council’s involvement in delivering the work of the Tata Transition Board.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Design and deliver communication and marketing activities as the project communications and marketing service expert.
2. Work closely with project teams and stakeholders to understand project/programme objectives and develop communications strategies.
3. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to foster positive relationships and ensure effective communications.
4. Create compelling and accurate multimedia content for various platforms, including press releases, website updates, social media, and other communications materials.
About you:
5. Educated to degree standard or equivalent in a business or communications discipline.
6. Ability to design, deliver, and manage a full range of communication and marketing campaigns and activities.
7. Proven ability to work under pressure, on own initiative, to tight deadlines, and to deal with competing priorities.
8. Outstanding IT skills and confident use of multiple platforms and content management systems
