The primary objective of this position is to assist in implementing the SEO strategy for the Insurance and SMR P&Ls. As part of this role, you’ll support the execution of on-site, off-site, content, and technical SEO activities. Collaborating closely with the Technical SEO Manager and Content Editors, you’ll implement site changes and engage with various stakeholders across the organisation to understand product and commercial priorities.
Additionally, you’ll work closely with our agency to deliver effective SEO initiatives and help the Head of SEO optimise our relationship for growth aligned with P&L business goals. This role is based in the digital marketing team at our London Blackfriars office, with occasional travel to other UK offices. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Director of Digital Marketing, the Head of SEO, Content Editor, Developers, and Commercial teams within each business unit.
What will I be doing?
* Supporting SEO Strategy Implementation: Assist the Head of SEO in implementing the SEO strategy for your P&Ls to drive incremental traffic and revenue opportunities for the business.
* Day-to-Day SEO Activity Management: Maintain day-to-day SEO activity plans across on-site, off-site, content, and technical areas for AA Insurance and SMR business segments.
* Stakeholder Liaison and Reporting: Collaborate with P&L stakeholders to support broader P&L initiatives and provide performance reports.
* Collaboration with Content Editors, Developers, and Technical SEO Manager: Work closely with Content Editors, Developers, and the Technical SEO Manager to ensure timely and accurate delivery of actions and measure their impact.
* Direct Execution of Recommendations: Make changes directly through our CMS to execute SEO recommendations whenever possible.
* Agency Relationship Management: Assist the Head of SEO in maintaining day-to-day communication with our agency to ensure efficient delivery of actions aligned with our SEO strategy.
* Search Intent Research and Content Recommendations: Conduct search intent research to understand customer search behaviour and translate findings into content recommendations.
* Competitor Analysis and Action Identification: Analyse organic search results to identify opportunities, risks, and trends related to competitors and take appropriate actions.
* Impact Measurement and Reporting: Report and measure the impact of website changes on rankings, share of voice, CTR, visits, and other performance signals.
* Market Insights and Stakeholder Communication: Monitor market changes, competitor shifts, and our performance to provide relevant insights for internal reports and meetings and assist the Head of SEO in managing commercial stakeholders by presenting performance updates and insights on competitive landscape changes.
* Group-Wide SEO Best Practices and Processes: Support the team in developing Group-wide SEO best practices and integrated processes as needed.

* Analytics and Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with Google Analytics for reporting and analysis, as well as expertise in SEO tracking and auditing tools.
