Junior Quality Control Officer

Reporting to the Quality & Protocol Manager, we are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Junior Quality Control Officer who will be responsible for ensuring all garments meet high quality standards set out by our UK Atelier/ the Tailoring department.
Responsibilities:
Garment Quality Control - Outbound:
* Checking the garment against the order to ensure the garment is made correctly to specs / techpack and ecom images.
* Ensure any customisations haven’t been missed, such as: length, embroidery, add sleeves, etc.
* Check the garment for any issues such as pulls, marks on fabric from inconsistent dying, thread tension, marks, faulty buttons, buttonhole positions, overall finish, and snip any threads.
* Check embroidery and garment measurements are correct to our measurement chart.
* Photograph each garment and ensure it is scanned with its unique barcode and kept on file in case we need it for reference (this is crucial in case of a dispute).
* Ensure fusing application and final pressing of the garment is correct.
Seamless Workflow:
* Spot inconsistencies and think on your feet to fix any garment issue.
* Work with the production manager to seamlessly filter through any alterations without the order being shipped late or disrupting production.
* Track all alterations to ensure the tailors/embroiderers are able to complete in time for shipment.
Order Tracking:
* Communicate to production and sales if any orders are late due to failed QC.
* Track all orders in real time, ensuring priority items are set throughout the day/week - the business model is very unique; we create each garment made to order.
* Ensure garments are shipped on time, packed and ready for daily shipments, or sent to our showroom for any fittings with or without embroidery when specified.
Returns:
* Check, monitor and process customer returns ensuring they are documented appropriately.
