We are looking for a suitable candidate to help assist our factory quality manager. This person will need to be reliable and passionate for this role. This individual in this position is in a position of responsibility and, as such, is expected to strictly adhere to the company's set standards.
Skills Required:
1. Level 2 Food Safety.
2. Level 2 HACCP.
3. Allergen Awareness Training.
4. Flexibility, reliability, and good timekeeping.
5. Passionate for work.
6. Have a basic understanding of computer use as technical data input requires the use of a laptop, which requires a basic understanding in the use of software programmes such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Duties Include:
1. Monitor and ensure the production of consistent quality products via standard product testing procedures.
2. To be responsible for inspecting incoming and outgoing products as required by the quality management system.
3. Where appropriate, communicate product safety and quality standards to the company's personnel.
4. Conduct equipment calibration checks daily to ensure the site's testing equipment is running to the correct standards.
5. Run hourly temperature checks on both the product and environment to ensure no deviations from the standards.
6. Conduct weight and quality checks on a per product basis to ensure the product standards are as per those specified.
7. On a weekly basis, conduct hygiene swabs, thus ensuring the factory environment remains at a high standard of hygiene.
8. Continually monitor and verify raw material and product batch coding information to ensure that it is all correct and consistent.
9. Carry out glass and Perspex audits to the required schedule - weekly, monthly, or 6-monthly, following the correct procedure.
10. To be part of the HACCP team and ensure company HACCP requirements are being met and undertake GMP and CCP audits on a regular basis.
11. Assist in the location and provision of the traceability paperwork as and when required.
12. Conduct regular checks on the product being produced through the Factory to ensure that it is being produced to specification.
13. Sample the product as scheduled in order to facilitate retention and organoleptic assessment over product life.
