Specialist Pre-School - Nursery Practitioner (Two posts)

Annual Salary £18470 – pro rata averaged monthly pay = £1539.17
(Base Salary 11.45 hour = £16751.35 per annum + holiday pay = £1718.65 per annum)
An annual pay review is undertaken by the Trustees in March of each year.
Work Place Pension Scheme – NEST.
Work wear provided, plus free parking on site.
Permanent Post
38 hours per week: - Monday afternoon & Tuesday to Friday.
Term Time only (38.5 weeks per school year)
The suitable candidate must have the following:
* An NVQ level 3 or higher qualification in childcare or equivalent.
* Experience of working in Early Years.
* Good understanding of the current Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
* Experience of delivering a high-quality learning environment through good interaction and planned activities based on observations.
* Experience of setting up a wide range of activities for all areas of learning, using observations from these activities to assess children’s progress, and plan further activities to support the learning and developmental needs of individual children.
* Good understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection, Health and Safety, Food Safety, Confidentiality and Whistle Blowing.
* Experience of completing risk assessments, care plans and reporting accidents/incidents.
