We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced in-house recruiter to join our team at Orona Ltd on a permanent basis. Reporting to the HR Director, you will take ownership of the full end-to-end recruitment process for a wide range of vacancies within a specific business region, working alongside hiring managers to identify and source quality candidates using a variety of methods. We are seeking a Recruitment Assistant to support the hiring team with recruiting and onboarding activities. Reporting to the HR Director, the role will play an integral part in supporting our Recruitment team and be an excellent opportunity for someone who wishes to learn and build a career as an internal recruiter. Responsibilities include: Promote the Company’s reputation and the Orona Values Support the Recruiters to proactively find and engage high-quality, diverse candidates directly from various channels Direct source to identify talent pipelines Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards etc Conduct screening calls with candidates Co-ordinate the interview process with candidates and recruiting managers ensuring all parties receive regular updates throughout the process Manage the offer process including drafting contracts and issuing offer packs Manage the onboarding process including all associated Admin tasks Conduct background and reference checks Coordinate with other departments to ensure everything is ready for the new starter on their first day i.e. Fleet, IT, Workwear Maintain precise and up-to-date recruitment activity records Coordination of probation periods with line managers Coordinate the monthly Company induction attendance Support with HR projects and initiatives Requirements and skills: Comprehensive knowledge of the hiring process, including recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding Highly organized Very strong attention to detail / accuracy Experienced in sourcing and attracting candidates using different methods including LinkedIn, Job Boards, Careers Fairs Proficient in MS Office Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen Strong internal stakeholder management skills Experience of hiring field and office based employees would be beneficial A strong sense of professionalism and discretion Ability to work independently and as part of a team The role will be based 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) in Sunbury on Thames. Requirements: Experience of recruitment either in house or agency based Good IT systems knowledge Ideally experienced recruiting for engineering industry profile roles
