Main duties of the job MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Participate in the monitoring of standards of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care. Participate in direct care needs of patients, providing expert knowledge of all clinical specialities and acting as a role model. Participate in audit and monitoring accurate documentation in accordance with Trust policy, NMC and HPC guidelines. Be competent in facilitating an emergency service covering all specialties provided within the department, during elective and non elective periods Ensure the safe administration of drugs in accordance with Trust Policy, and NMC and HPC guidelines.
