Senior Business Analyst About the job you're considering They are looking for experienced Senior Business Analysts to join their team and work on an exciting project with their prestigious public sector client. You will be joining a growing and exciting profession of 100 Business Analysts (BAs) ranging from apprentices starting out on their careers to BAs with many years of experience with different clients, all of whom work together to deliver value for their clients, whilst continually sharing knowledge and expertise. It is imperative you have strong experience of managing, mentoring and coaching teams as you will be required to lead teams consisting of junior BA's. This role also benefits from hybrid working, you will be expected to come into their office based in either Telford or Worthing on average two days per week however this can change as it depends on business requirements. Your role • Work with business stakeholders to define their requirements, translate these into user stories, and define acceptance criteria. • Have responsibility for working with solution architects and other technical subject matter experts to deliver an end-to-end solution which meets clients’ requirements. • Play a pivotal role in projects as part of a multi-disciplinary agile scrum team. • Be highly customer focused and responsible for building stakeholder relationships. • Have responsibility for leading Business Analysis on complex client and internal projects. • Have people management responsibilities and actively support the development and career progression of other BAs. • Understand industry trends, look for new opportunities for work within your projects, contribute to proposals and drive innovation which will increase client value e.g., use of Generative AI to enhance business processes. Your skills and experience • Working on user-centred product or service development projects. • Working in a technical environment. Comfortable working closely with solution architects and other technical subject matter experts supporting technical requirements. • Working in a multi-disciplinary agile scrum team, facilitating, and supporting the end-to-end delivery. • Supporting and developing other BAs through activities such as people management and mentoring • Working on projects in the Public Sector or other legislative driven sectors such Utilities, Energy or Pharmaceutical • Identifying and developing business opportunities with clients. • The use of ALM Tooling • Understand the architecture and the technologies being used to deliver a solution. • Be the intermediary between business requirements and solution design. • Influence strategy and leadership direction within complex engagements • Facilitate workshops, solve complex problems, writing documents, deliver compelling messages. • Support and lead scrum team activities and ceremonies to ensure delivery of team goals. • Build collaborative stakeholder relationships with a range of colleagues and clients up to the most senior level. • Become a trusted advisor to their clients and provide coaching where necessary. BCS Business Analysis certification would be desirable.
