Contributing to the provision of perfusion services to St Georges Healthcare. Assisting in the development of the department and the education and training of the perfusion team as well as ensuring continued professional development.
As an experienced and autonomous practitioner, leads by example and acting as a role model, provides clinical and professional perfusion services to the multidisciplinary team. The post holder will participate fully in the development of the team, being able to organise facilities and staff, to enable the clinical group to meet its contractual and professional targets.
St George’s, Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals and Health Group cares for a population of four million people in South West London and North East Surrey. As a senior member of the team, contribute towards individual professional development and training of junior members. Proactively assisting in the delivery of a high-class elective and on-call perfusion service focusing on goal-directed perfusion.
